Two Stoneware Crocks, Gardiner, ME origin, fourth quarter 19th century, a three-gallon crock with two impressed and cobalt-highlighted designs of a flying eagle clutching a flag, impressed "GARDINER STONEWARE / MANUFACTURERS, / GARDINER, ME"; with a four-gallon crock with matching decoration, unmarked. Three-gallon with a long crack to right of decoration and significant restoration. Four-gallon with some exfoliation to shoulder on front, chips to interior rim, a handle chip.
