Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO. PA.", circa 1875, both of tapered form with inner "wax sealer" rims and stenciled vine motifs. Smaller jar with heavy chipping and wear to interior of rim and additional chipping to inner wax sealer rim. Larger jar with a few chips to interior of rim, a few chips to inner wax sealer rim, and some staining to surface. H (of smaller jar) 8 3/8".
