Two One-Gallon Stoneware Jugs, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, each of ovoid form with squared spout, decorated with a brushed floral motif featuring a long, graduated blossom. One jug with fry to cobalt and minor chip to interior of spout. The other with a small rim chip, touch-up to fry on decoration, and handle broken into two sections and reglued, with coloring along cracks of reglued sections.
