Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated around the midsection with a brushed design of three tulip blossoms emanating from leafy stems. Two rows of cobalt swags to sides of collar and cobalt dashes flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: Collection of Harry Meyer, McDonald, PA. Restoration to right edge of spout. H 9".
