One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher footed base and tooled rim, the front decorated with an unusual foliate drape motif with flower at center. Sides of collar with leaf motif. Spout flanked by swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Restoration to spout. A tiny rim chip on reverse.
