Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid pitcher with flared base and slightly-flared collar, decorated with a large brushed design a two-stemmed clover plant. Spout flanked by brushed swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: Collection of Harry Meyer, McDonald, PA. Restoration to base, underside, collar, and horizontal crack through handle.
