Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, Philadelphia origin, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edges, the interiors similarly-decorated with wavy trails of yellow slip. Smaller plate with two minor in-the-firing rim nicks and some light surface wear to interior. Larger plate with a 5 1/4" crack from rim, a 1" line from rim, a small rim chip, and minor rim wear. Diameter (of smaller plate) 8".
