Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, American, 19th century, a two-gallon crock with double-stemmed floral motif, stamped "S. PURDY", Ohio origin, paired with a two-gallon crock with cobalt-script "2", stamped "A.J. BUTTLER, / MANUFACTURERR / NEW-BRUNSWICK, NJ", with brushed floral motif on reverse. Purdy crock with a restored crack from rim on front and reverse. Buttler crock with large rim chip, small rim chip, and X-shaped line on underside.
