One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled body and rim, and ribbed handle, decorated around the midsection with a brushed swag-and-hanging-flower motif. Cobalt floral motifs to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Areas of in-the-firing dryness to surface. A minor chip to spout and rim.
