Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, decorated around the midsection with a series of brushed swags and hanging flowers. Collar heavily-decorated with six horizontal floral motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a faint 3" horizontal line at base on reverse, not visible on interior, and two small base chips on reverse. H 9".
