Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS", circa 1870, large-sized, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a parrot perched in the crook of two crossed, spotted leaves. A 3/8" in-the-firing ping to right leaf. A small in-the-firing contact mark to left side of crock. Two long and one short horizontal, in-the-firing surface lines to base, not visible on interior.
