Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1870, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and tall spout, decorated with stem bearing four open-centered flower blossoms, a series of leaves, and a flower bud, applied over slip-coated clay. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Large base chips. Crazing to base area.
