Unusual Cobalt-Decorated Log Cabin Pottery Pitcher, Signed "J.F. OWEN / 97", Guilford County, NC, circa 1925, ovoid pitcher with wide pouring spout, the exterior and surface decorated with heavy cobalt and covered in a clear glaze. Underside incised with unusual "J.F. OWEN" signature, along with an incised image of a log cabin and the number "97". A shallow spout chip, a small rim chip, and a minor rim nick. H 6".
