One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Huntingdon County, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical crock with squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two brushed flowers emanating from curved stems with graduated leaves. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A thin 2 1/2" crack from rim. Two chips and a minor nick to exterior of rim. A chip and several minor nicks to interior of rim. Adhesive grease(?) residue to surface.
