Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Abial Price, Matawan, NJ or Taunton, MA, second quarter 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed design of a flower emanating from wreath-shaped brushwork, underscored by scalloped lines. A large restored Y-shaped crack on reverse. Otherwise excellent condition.
