Five-Gallon Double-Handled Jug with Alkaline Glaze, Catawba Valley, NC origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with wide spout, and small strap handles, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze. Shoulder incised "5". Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 18".
