Five Pieces of Assorted Pottery, American and European, 19th and 20th centuries, a cobalt-banded stoneware mug with pewter lid, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century; a miniature ovoid redware jug, American, 19th century; a reproduction miniature parrot-decorated crock, stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.", impressed on underside, "SAMPSON / 1980 / WINCHESTER, MASS."; a cobalt-decorated "ANCHOVIS" jar, European origin; and a rust-dipped stoneware ink bottle, marked "P. & J. ARNOLD. / LONDON. / ENGLAND.". Mug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Chips to miniature redware jug. Norton reproduction crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Anchovis jar with two minor chips to underside at edge. Ink bottle with shallow rim chip. H (of Anchovis jar) 6 1/2".
