Two Pieces of New Jersey Stoneware, 19th century, a scarce one-gallon crock with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "JOHN B. PEWTRESS / PERTH AMBOY", paired with a one-gallon South Amboy jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "N. FURMAN, NO, 39, PECK SLIP, NY". Pewtress crock with several small, shallow rim chips and a crack extending across underside and several inches up front. Furman jar with a hairline extending across underside and several inches up front, some staining to reverse, small chips to interior of rim, wear to inner rim for lid, and an in-the-firing iron ping to one side.
