Fine Copper-Glazed Redware Jar, Massachusetts origin, second quarter 19th century, highly-ovoid jar with flared rim and footed base, the surface covered in a colorful, streaky green glaze. Glaze is applied over white slip, creating interesting streaks and variations in the color, from darker greens to a vibrant, creamy green. Reglued 2 1/4" section to rim. A few minor base nicks. H 7 1/2".
