Two New York State Stoneware Crocks, fourth quarter 19th century, both of cylindrical form, a two-gallon example with brushed leaf, stamped "J. FISHER & CO. / LYONS, N.Y.", a three-gallon example with slip-trailed leaf, stamped "ADAM CAIRE / PO'KEEPSIE, N.Y.". Caire crock with a 4 1/2" crack from rim on front, a 3 1/2" crack from rim on reverse, a small reglued chip on interior of rim, and some staining to surface. Fisher crock in very nice condition with 1 1/4" hairline from rim on front, some light staining, a 3/4" surface line under one handle, a 3" hairline from rim on reverse, and a rim chip on reverse.
