Collection of Seven Blue-and-White Stoneware Pitchers, Primarily Spongeware, American, late 19th or early 20th century, six pitchers of various forms and size, featuring different sponged cobalt patterns over Bristol-slip-glazed grounds, together with a blue-and-white pitcher with stamped cobalt banner motif. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, from a forty-year Maryland collection. All in fair to excellent condition. Some with cracks and chips. H (of tallest) 8 3/4".
