Three Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th and 20th centuries, a lead-glazed flowerpot with crimped rim and manganese decoration over slip, attributed to Anthony Bacher, Thurmont, MD or Winchester, VA; an ovoid pitcher, incised on underside "m[ade] / In / Stahl Pottery / By / Thomas Stahl / Nov 8 th / 1938; and a small ovoid jar, stamped "C. LINK", Exeter, PA origin. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Flowerpot with exfoliation, chips and wear to rim, and a short hairline from rim. Pitcher in excellent condition, with a semi-circular, in-the-firing contact mark to underside. Link jar with rim chips and two hairlines extending from rim to shoulder. H (of flowerpot) 5 7/8".
