Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO / GREENSBORO. PA", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with "wax sealer" rim, featuring banner-shaped James Hamilton cobalt maker's stenciling, accented with stenciled foliate motifs. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 1/4".
