Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Floral Motif, Western PA orgiin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and recessed wax sealer rim, the front decorated with a stylized stenciled design flourishes and curved leaves below a stenciled rose blossom. Provenance: Collection of Lorren Lambert, Staunton, VA. Chips to inner wax sealer rim. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 7/8".
