Two Pieces of Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, circa 1855-1875, a one-gallon jug with slip-trailed floral decoration, stamped "J. & E. NORTON. / BENNINGTON VT.", paired with a two-gallon jar with stylized slip-trailed floral spray, stamped "HAXSTUN, OTTMAN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". Jug in excellent condition with a minor spout chip and some staining. Jar with a handle chip, a spot of light wear to front and chips to interior of rim and along inner rim for lid.
