Small-Sized Three-Color Redware Dish, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, with tapered sides and semi-rounded rim, the interior coated in cream-colored slip and decorated with a copper daub and manganese applied in a subtle, mocha-style seaweed pattern. Underside with pencil inscription "699X2X / Souderton PA / SANDRA PAINE / Probably / MORAVIAN". Rim chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 1 1/8" ; Diameter 4 3/8".
