Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid 19th century, a one-gallon jug with brushed wreath, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted mark, "PENN YAN", New York State origin; paired with one-gallon jar with, inscribed "one" in cobalt with graduated stripes below, probably New Jersey origin. Jug with a some staining, small base, and faint 3/4" line at base, and what appears to be a small filled and colored hole to right of the wreath. Jar with two chips to one handle, a chip to base, as well as additional wear to handles and base, and some light wear to body.
