Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, an ovoid jar with tall collar and cylindrical jar, both decorated with three brushed flowers extending around the shoulder. Ovoid jar in very nice condition with two small chips to exterior of rim, a minor nick to interior of rim, and an iron glob near base. Cylindrical jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of ovoid jar) 8".
