Rare Glazed Redware Sculpture of a Boot, attributed to George Wagner, Carbon County, PA, late 19th century, with impressed and incised details on an oblong base, the surface decorated with copper and manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Purchased at a Bucks County, PA auction in 2008. Very nice condition with wear to top edge of bottom and a faint line to reverse. H 4 1/4".
