Two Ovoid Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, a three-gallon jar with tooled shoulder and cobalt stripe decoration; and a three-gallon jar with cobalt floral motif on front and reverse. Stripe-decorated jar with thin cracks and crazing throughout, as well as shallow in-the-firing chipping to base. Other jar with rim chips.
