Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Incised Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1810, ovoid jar with heavy tooling to shoulder and base, decorated on each side with incised and cobalt-highlighted floral motif featuring a scrolled stem. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Both handles professionally restored. Large Y-shaped line extending up from base on one side and under one handle. A rim chip. Base chips.
