Two Pieces of Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, third quarter 19th century, a one-gallon jug with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "THOMPSON & TYLER / TROY NY"; paired with a three-gallon jug with slip-trailed foliate motif. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Troy jug with a 2" restored base chip and a stain on left side of jug. Three-gallon jug with some fry to cobalt, some staining to surface, and a few minor base nicks.
