Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER, N.Y.", circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a tulip plant with shading to the petals and leaves. Slip-trailed "2" to shoulder. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Two chips to underside at edge. A chip to top of rim with tight 4" descending from it. A few small chips to interior of rim. Some water glass staining to interior.
