Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Two chips to exterior of rim. Other minor wear to exterior of rim. Minor chips to interior of rim.
