Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwell, probably New York State origin, circa 1820, with heavily-tooled top covered in cobalt slip, fashioned with two quill holes and a central ink hole. Some shallow chipping to base. A shallow chip to shoulder. A small flake to ink hole. H 1 3/8" ; Diameter 3 5/8".
