Shenandoah Valley Redware Tankard Pitcher, Stamped "S. BELL & SON. / STRASBURG", VA origin, circa 1890, semi-ovoid form with footed base and tooled shoulder, the surface covered in a dipped whitish slip. Impressed with S. Bell & Son maker's mark at shoulder. Provenance: The Stradlings; Ex-James and Nancy Glazer, 1975. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 9 1/2".
