Two Alabama Stoneware Jugs, 19th century, a squat-shaped jug with celadon-colored alkaline glaze, Sand Mountain area, Dekalb County, Alabama, possibly Elijah McPherson; paired with a slender salt-glazed jug, Randolph County, AL origin, possibly W.D. Pound. Smaller jug in excellent condition with tiny handle nick. Taller jug in very nice condition with small spout chips. H (of smaller jug) 9".
