Half-Gallon Baltimore, MD Stoneware Advertising Jug, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising "E.G. HIPSLEY & CO / GROCERIES & LIQUORS, / NO. 414 N. GAY STREET / BALTIMORE". Excellent, essentially as-made condition with tiny nick to spout, probably in-the-firing. H 9 5/8".
