Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1840, a stew pot with streaked manganese decoration, paired with an ovoid jar with tooled banding and spattered manganese decoration. Stew pot with three minor base nicks, two shallow chips to handle, a minor rim chip, a few minor glaze nicks to rim, and some glaze wear to midsection. Jar with heavy wear to rim, wear to handles, and a 1 1/4" base chip. H (of stew pot) 6 1/2".
