Fine Slip-Decorated Redware Tart Plate, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1800-1830, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a large, wavy band of yellow slip. Excellent size, decoration, and color. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from an eighty-year private collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diameter 4 1/8".
