Stoneware "Top Hat" Canning Jar, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W. Va.", circa 1875, squat-shaped jar with flattened wax sealer rim and heavily-tooled shoulder, featuring diagonal A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling in cobalt across the front. A dark streak of staining (not a crack) across the front. Shallow wear to interior of rim. Very minor wear to inner wax sealer rim. H 5 3/4".
