One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Milkpan with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Remmey, Jr., Philadelphia, PA, circa 1840, tapered pan with squared rim, applied lug handles, and pouring spout, decorated on both sides with a brushed design of leafy stems flanking a central flower blossom. Cobalt dashes underneath each handle and accenting the handle terminals. Three small chips to interior of rim. Some wear to rim and handle. Some wear and fry to cobalt.
