Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "W. SMITH / GREENWICH / NEW YORK", circa 1840, a two-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt tulip decoration, paired with a small crock with vertical leaf and curved tulip motifs. Interestingly, the two-gallon jar features a design more commonly associated with the Ingell family of Taunton, Massachusetts and Abial Price of Matawan, New Jersey. Two-gallon jar with large colored cracks, possibly broken into two pieces and reglued, along with shallow chips on interior of rim. Small crock broken into pieces and reglued, with additional chips.
