One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two brushed cobalt leaves. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small in-the-firing ping on side of crock.
