Rare Stoneware Flowerpot with Molded Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY, / N.Y. / POTTERY", circa 1880, wheel-thrown flowerpot with attached saucer, decorated with four molded and applied foliate motifs. Relief rope embellishments to rim of pot and saucer. Surface covered in an Albany slip glaze. Impressed twice with West Troy Pottery maker's mark and the number 3 on saucer. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 1/2" ; Diameter (across top) 8".
