Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "I. SEYMOUR / TROY", New York State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with an artistically-brushed flower emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Rim chips. Spot of staining to front.
