One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with brushed swags around the midsection, interspersed accented with additional swags or stylized flower blossoms below. Brushed swags below spout and leaves on the sides of the collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a salt drip to side of pitcher near base.
