Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN", Baltimore, MD, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed swag and hanging flower design. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A shallow 1" in-the-firing chip to base. One handle with a chip to each end. Opposite handle two chips to one end.
