One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "H. MYERS", attributed to Henry Remmey Sr. or Jr., Baltimore Stoneware Manufactory, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, cylindrical jar with footed base, rounded shoulder, and semi-squared rim, decorated with a heavily-brushed vining around the shoulder, underscored by a wavy cobalt stripe. Very nice condition with some small chips to base and minor rim wear.
