Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Butterfly Decoration, Stamped "HAXSTUN, OTTMAN & CO. / FORT EDWARD N.Y.", circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with tall collar, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a spotted butterfly within a wreath.
